"We spend our entire lives sacrificing our health to
then when we reach our retirement years,
we sacrifice all
our money to try and
regain our health."
Life is hard and it is full of challenges. It is also about choices. Remember when you were a child and you couldn't wait to grow up so you could make your own choices? Well, how have you done so far? Are the results you see and are feeling, affecting your health? Are they making you happy?
Look into the mirror. When was the last time you really took a good look? Do you like what you see? Do you like how seeing yourself makes you feel? Are you living true to yourself? Are you able to live comfortably within your skin? Can you accept yourself for who you have become?
You don't have to answer me, but only answer to yourself. Oh, by the way, there will be more questions asked.
Are you living your life for you or for someone else? Ask yourself, who is in my drivers seat? Hopefully you and hopefully you are making the best choices for yourself and not for someone else. Stay in your drivers seat.
Do you love yourself? Can you accept yourself for who you are? Can you forgive yourself for your past? Those decisions from those choices you made years ago are the results you are living today.
We need to love ourselves more than anything that we are addicted to or anything that is not healthy. Do you recognize that life is a blessing? We are blessed to be here. No matter how much pain or how depressed you are.
Do you realize that our words and our actions are impeccable? They can never be taken back or truly cancelled. We are planting seeds with those words and actions. Look at what you are sowing. We must remember that we reap what we sow.
Practice what we preach. Walk your talk. Don't let situations control you. Don't live by emotions and make major decisions by emotions.
Expectations, speak them. Don't hope that someone will read your mind. Looks at the results that happen when you don't.
We must remember that our children are our future and we must learn to speak with them and not at them. Teach them by example. Be the best role model you can be. Making healthy choices for our bodies. What we choose to eat can really affect our bodies. It provides the fuel we need to get through the day and the next. What are you running on?
These I will elaborate on in my next blog.
Peace, love and light
